MagicLab Unveils MagicHand S01 Dexterous Hand

On February 19th, the embodied intelligent robot company Magic Atom announced the launch of its first generation self-developed dexterous hand product MagicHand S01. MagicHand S01 has 11 degrees of freedom with a single hand and is based on force position hybrid control technology that combines current and touch, enabling agile and complex movements such as grasping, gripping, and two finger operation. MagicHand S01 has a hand load of up to 5 kilograms and a maximum load of over 20 kilograms in work scenarios, which can meet the landing application needs of various scenarios such as industrial, commercial, and household.

Combined with advanced embodied intelligent control technology, it can adapt to different scenarios such as industrial and commercial applications. As the end effector for humanoid robots to interact with the physical world, the design and development of dexterous hands are quite difficult. Currently, among humanoid robot manufacturers, only Tesla Figure AI、 Very few manufacturers, such as Magic Atom, are able to achieve independent research and development.

At present, the humanoid robot "Wheat" under Magic Atom has entered the factory production line. In addition to providing job training for product inspection, material handling, part picking and placing, scanning and warehousing, it also needs to deal with flexible production requirements such as production line iteration and product changes. These landing application scenarios pose greater challenges to the robot's dexterity. In addition to its high flexibility, high load capacity, and high reliability, the communication interface of MagicHand S01 seamlessly connects with the humanoid robot "Wheat". With a control frequency of up to 100Hz, it can achieve synchronous control with the robot without delay, accurately executing control and operation instructions of the humanoid robot's brain and cerebellum.
