Brenda Chen focuses on investments at Empyrean Sky Partners, with a particular emphasis on the technology and consumer sectors. She brings a diverse cross-industry background and extensive experience in cross-border investment, financing, and brand strategy.
Brenda previously worked with Yiling Ventures (LBO France China Representative), Chengqi Capital, and Houlihan Lokey. She has led and co-led investments in companies including Qiangu Technology and Jingkong Energy.
Earlier in her career, Brenda served at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, where she was stationed at the EU headquarters as an attaché and supported China–EU cooperation across political, economic, and social initiatives.
She holds an MBA from London Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Literature from Shanghai International Studies University. Brenda is also a CFA charterholder.
