Founding Managing Partner

Mr. Max Mao is a seasoned capital markets expert, currently serving as Founding Managing Partner and Head of Investor Relations at Empyrean Sky Partners. With extensive experience in capital market operations, investor relations strategy, and corporate services, he has advised leading companies such as iQiyi, KE Holdings, Waterdrop, Li Auto, Kuaishou, and many others.

Prior to joining Empyrean Sky Partners, Mao had held key leadership roles, including Executive Director in Corporate Services & Capital Markets at Futu Holdings, and User Experience & Growth Lead at DiDi Chuxing. He was also a Co-Founder of Supermoon Data and began his career as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Financial Advisory Services, where he built a strong foundation in finance and consulting. With a diverse career and strong leadership, he continues to drive value in capital markets and venture investment.

Mao holds a Master’s degree in Management from Tsinghua University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics & Finance from the University of Toronto.
